He now lives in the DFW Metroplex area with his beautiful wife Katie and their 3 amazing Kids. “Basketball is what I DO in which I’m blessed to do at a high level based off of my pure passion and care for every individual I’m blessed to work with, but it’s not WHO I AM as a whole. I love being husband, father, friend etc. with my family and just being the funny, goofy guy I am.”

He played all 4 years of High School Basketball at Tascosa High School where he graduated from before heading to Howard College (‘07- ‘09) under new Texas Tech Head Men’s Coach Mark Adams. He completed his time at Howard and then transferred to finished out due to major injury at West Texas A&M University under Coach Rick Cooper (‘09-‘11) After leaving West Texas A&M he was offered a professional playing option until he was struck by the same injury again which led him into his coaching career started with Next Level Basketball. He later started his own program, the” Amarillo Elite Basketball Program/ Elite Individuals Skills” and was soon hired by Arbor Christian Academy in Amarillo Texas where he would head up the JV Boys and assist the Varsity Boys while assisting with girls and helping lead them to the Final 4 of the state tournament. Upon Arbor shutting down at the end of the school year Coach Bryson was immediately hired by the rival school San Jacinto Christian Academy, but prior to the season starting departed to take the coaching job at First Baptist Dallas under the program lead by Noah Mitchell at the time. That would extend his Amarillo Elite Program to Dallas and renamed the “Texas Elite Basketball Program/ Eli7e Individuals Skills”. Much success was had at First Baptist Academy Dallas which then led to Coach Bryson being offered the assistant coaching position at Irving The Highlands School. After the first season Coach Bryson was offered and promoted to the Head Coach role where records were set, streaks broken, state playoff appearances made, Coach of the year honors awarded and much more success in the 7 years there.

Within all of Coach Bryson success in the coaching roles he is also highly respected, known and sought out in the professional skills training realm too.
