He played all 4 years of High School Basketball at Tascosa High School where he graduated from before heading to Howard College (‘07- ‘09) under new Texas Tech Head Men’s Coach Mark Adams. He completed his time at Howard and then transferred to finished out due to major injury at West Texas A&M University under Coach Rick Cooper (‘09-‘11) After leaving West Texas A&M he was offered a professional playing option until he was struck by the same injury again which led him into his coaching career started with Next Level Basketball. He later started his own program, the” Amarillo Elite Basketball Program/ Elite Individuals Skills” and was soon hired by Arbor Christian Academy in Amarillo Texas where he would head up the JV Boys and assist the Varsity Boys while assisting with girls and helping lead them to the Final 4 of the state tournament.
